A high school graduate, Scotty currently serves as the Maryland FFA State Reporter for the 2011-12 year.
A Middleton FFA member, Scotty has completed a technical course in agricultural metals and technology, and he acquired his welding certification for 3G welding.
He now works as a small engine mechanic at an agricultural shop and has been a volunteer firefighter for more than three years.
