Caring for FFA Camp

Caring for FFA Camp

In the spirit of FFA camps all over the country, here’s a story about one chapter that’s decided to give back to the place that provides such fun and FFA excitement.

From Todd Lighthall, executive director of the New York FFA Foundation:

Two FFA chapters in New York have worked this spring to improve the signage that we have at camp. At the FFA convention, FFA members from the Clymer FFA presented Oswegatchie with a large FFA emblem to be used at the entry of camp and three smaller emblems to be used along the route between Croghan and Oswegatchie. These signs will be hung in time for summer camp this year.

Additionally, members of the Chateaugay FFA with advisor Gleason Walley have worked diligently to provide a new entry sign to take the place of our old sign across from Sutliff.

I would like to thank both Clymer and Chateaugay for their kind and generous gifts.  These services provide a valuable service to FFA and Oswegatchie. Thank you to all involved on such wonderful work.
