Hey guys! The American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) just announced a very cool contest - they are giving away a horse. Yes, a real, live horse! Copper Beech Morgans, a well-known breeding farm, has graciously donated a foal for the contest, open only to equine enthusiasts under the age of 21.
It’s all based on an essay contest, so here are the details.
- You must be 21 years old or younger.
- You must submit a completed application packet, an essay and a signature form to affirm that you can care for the horse.
- The cost of applying is $100, so find a sponsor to back you up!
- You must submit your application packet no later than July 31, 2008.
Three finalists (one from each specified region of the country) will be chosen, and then asked to submit a DVD/video answering three interview questions. The winner will be chosen and announced at the 2008 Morgan Grand National & World Championship Show in Oklahoma City this October.
